POROS
The word Poros means “passage”. According to the ancient traveler and geographer Pausanias, Poros consisted of two islands: the small island of Sferia named after Sferos, the charioteer of Pelops and the island of kalavria the named of which symbolizes the gentle breeze blowing in the summer.
Poros captivates the visitor at first time. The traditional insular town bult amphitheatrically on a hill, is full of life and combines rest and tranquillity, sports and nightlife.
